Ashtabula, OH (October 15, 2020) – One rider was left injured after a collision in Ashtabula County on Monday evening. At approximately 7:45 p.m., on October 12, the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an accident on Ohio State Route 7.
According to reports, a motorcyclist was traveling on the stretch of Ohio State Route 7 located between Slater Road and Twitchell Road when they were struck by a gray Ford minivan. The rider was thrown from their bike and landed in the road.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and located the injured rider. They provided treatment at the scene before transporting them to an area hospital for assistance. At this time, investigations surrounding the crash are underway with the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
