Cleveland, OH (October 16, 2020) – One person has lost their life in a motor vehicle accident in Cleveland early Thursday evening. At approximately 4:30 p.m., on October 15, officers with the Cleveland Police Department responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle accident.
Reports from Cleveland Police spokeswoman Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia demonstrate that a 20-year-old man was driving east on Kinsman Road in a BMW when his vehicle collided with a westbound Hyundai Elantra for unknown reasons. The vehicle then proceeded forward and collided with a Hyundai Sonata.
A female passenger in the Elantra was fatally injured. The 69-year-old woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Several other victims were transported to University Hospital for treatment of injuries. However, reports do not specify the total number of victims harmed. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
