Cleveland, OH (August 17, 2020) – A car crash involving a bus sent one woman to an area hospital with serious injuries early Monday morning. At approximately 12:40 a.m., on August 17, the Cleveland Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on East 130th Street.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 36-year-old woman was driving on East 130th Street when her vehicle collided with an RTA bus near the stop located at the intersection with Kinsman Road. The impact of the crash sent the woman’s vehicle crashing through the Shrimp Boat restaurant, a local seafood restaurant located directly on the intersection.
The woman sustained serious injuries in the accident. She was rushed to University Hospital for treatment. At this time, officers with the Cleveland Police Department are investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
