Lyndhurst, OH (September 9, 2020) – An accident reported on Tuesday left one man seriously injured in the Lyndhurst area. On September 8, the police in Lyndhurst reported that a man was working with concrete on Edgefield Road, just after 5 p.m., on September 1, when he stepped onto a manhole cover.

The cover, which was not properly secured, flipped upward. The man fell into the hole and sustained serious injuries. The injured worker was transported from the scene of the incident to an area hospital via ambulance. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
