Lyndhurst, OH (October 12, 2020) – A crash early Monday morning sent one person to an area hospital with injuries. Just after 1 a.m., on October 12, the police and firefighters responded to the scene of a crash on Interstate 271.
Reports from authorities show that a person in a white SUV was driving on the southbound express lanes of Interstate 271 when the vehicle crashed into a construction truck just north of Brainard Road.
The impact of the crash caused significant damage to the front end of the SUV and to the rear-end of the commercial vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was injured in the accident. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries. The construction workers, who were outside of their vehicle, were uninjured in the crash.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
