Cleveland, OH (December 6, 2020) – A police chase on the east side of Cleveland resulted in a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Friday evening. On December 4, the Cleveland Police Department was requested at the site of a firearm incident.
Police arrived at the scene of the incident after receiving the report that a male was threatening a female with a firearm. The male fled the scene in a vehicle, resulting in a chase.
Officers pursued the vehicle on Interstate 90. After some distance, the vehicle became involved in a collision, near East 55th Street, causing the vehicle to roll over and crash into the patrol vehicle.
Four people, including two officers, were transported to University Hospital Cleveland Medical Center with undisclosed injuries. A woman was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center for further assistance. At this time. The incident remains under investigation with the police in Cleveland.
